They haven't announced autograph times yet, but these are the players that are "supposed" to show up:

Pirates players, including Andrew McCutchen, Neil Walker, Joel Hanrahan, Jose Tabata, Pedro Alvarez, James McDonald, Daniel McCutchen, Kevin Correia, Jeff Karstens, Chris Resop, Brad Lincoln, Alex Presley, Michael McKenry, Clint Barmes and Rod Barajas.

Pirates alumni Doug Drabek, Andy Van Slyke, Jose "Chico" Lind, Mike LaValliere and Kent Tekulve.

Can't wait to see how screwered up it is this year.

And supposedly Pedro Alvarez and Rod Barajas are out.

The whole thing is pretty comical. El Gordo is not making any fans--neither in Yinzerville, nor at 115 Federal Street. I really wish they would cancel the whole thing. This "something" is definitely not better than nothing.

I wonder why they announced Pedro and Barajas if they're out?

Times are up and theyre still there - PirateFest | pirates.com: Fan Forum

I only need Pedro and Neil this year so at least its spaced out for me on Saturday so I have a chance.

Can we rename Pedro to El Fatso.

i have a few if anyone has room to help..kj

i like the one line, and how players change so you dont know for sure who you will get until you get to the table. and you cant get people in 2 connsecutive sessions bc when you get to the back of the line it is so long it takes atleast 1 sometimes 2 sessions to get to the front.....

better than that might be the unlicsened 8x10s the pirates sell for 10 bucks

For once, it wasn't the event planning people's fault, at least this portion isn't. Barajas was due to a "miscommunication." Alvarez originally wasn't going to attend, changed his mind last weekend (which sent multiple people into a frenzy to add him to everything), then changed his mind again. My guess is he was invited to a wedding that weekend and wanted to see if the reception was a buffet before committing.

I actually called them on the unlicensed photo thing the first year I was there. The people working the booth had no idea what I was talking about (I didn't really expect them to either). All the photos there were either (poorly) taken by the team photographer or were pulled from the team's archive room. They are all printed in-house and dont hold Sharpie all that well.

The sad part is that this year they could have done more with the whole thing. They have the entire convention center floor available. They were supposed to have multiple autograph lines. I don't know why that never happened.

I prefer El Gordo Perezoso, myself.
