2009 Cubs Convention
The 24th annual Cubs Convention will be held at the Hilton Chicago, 720 South Michigan Avenue, from Friday, January 16 through Sunday, January 18, 2009.
2009 Cubs Convention Passes are sold out.
The convention exhibit hours are as follows: Friday 3 PM to 9 PM, Saturday 9 AM to midnight, and Sunday 9 AM to 1 PM. Included with each pass is weekend access to all of the hotel exhibit halls which host the autograph/photo sessions, question and answer seminars, as well as memorabilia and vendor booths. All proceeds from the Cubs Convention benefit Cubs Care. Cubs Care is the charitable beneficiary of the Chicago Cubs and a fund of the McCormick Tribune Foundation.
Rooms at the Hilton are currently sold out for Convention weekend, but fans are encouraged to check back for cancellations or availability by calling (312) 922-4400.
The Cubs Convention is the annual kick-off to Spring Training and the upcoming season.
The event provides fans with the opportunity to mingle with current and former Cubs players, broadcasters and front office executives.
Proceeds from the Convention benefit Cubs Care, a fund of the McCormick Foundation.
