You can bet Delmon Young is going to be required to attend this one for the 1st time.

If anybody is going to this and can get me Travis Lee, let me know.

If anyone can get me a Delmon Ill give you a delmon in return. i jsut need him for my Bowman Draft Set.. and have a few other to trade for it

In regards to the old timers booth, Wade Boggs, Fred McGriff, Toe Nash, Jose Canseco, and Matt White have been invited. I know Canseco has already been confirmed and will be selling copies of his book.

Anyone going to this, can you help me with Fred McGriff I need him for my set.

There free and that means every unemployed or retired person in Tampa will be in line with you for the freebies. To navigate around this problem, you can do 4 of several things. Last year here is what I did:

1. Get place in line early has possible and ask a season ticket holder if they have any spare passes for you. The snowbirds love to give them away. This will get you in a hour early for the rinky dink players and a early space in line for the stars. This also allows you plenty of time to make friends or have one of your friends go around in sign you up for everything. D-Rays love to give away tickets early in the season. 2 years ago, I couldn't find a grandmother I could charm and I decided rather then wait in a line I would try getting players has they arrived. I grabed Huff, Cantu, Neagle, and Cash pretty quickly and still had time to get in line for the other stars.

2. Target 3 players you have to have and stay put. Do not go by the schedule that the newspaper puts out. The D-Rays are very unorganized and have poor commucations with the media and their players still with new ownership. Sometimes the players are told the wrong times and they are late. After your 3 peeps, plan on the remaining minor leaguers to go thru their lines very quickly and gobble them up. Any extra starters are a bonus. Also, listen to the PA because alot of times people are to stubborn to go to the pitching and hitting instructions clinics for the fear of losing their place in line. Remember those friends you made in line ? There is no logically way to get everyone unless you have help. They may even be able to get your stuff signed if its a regular guy who is in awed that he even has cards. Offer to get their stuff signed by the players and coaches hosting the instructs if they hold your place in line. The players are required to stay a full 30 minutes for instructs even if nobody is there to instruct.

3. After you get your 3 targets and the minor leaguers, head to the players parking lot. The players that you missed in other lines while getting your 3 targets usually take 30-45 minutes to leave. This is a great time to get them along with finding out if they have any other appearances that day. Last year, Baldelli went straight to another appearance at a Best Buy which was on the way to the complex.

4. Once you do all this, some of players will be at the complex. Last year, Kazmir and Fossum were there after their schedule signing time.

I know the D-Rays are planing on having 6 Caravans. 3 of these are going to be at Mardi Gras parades the week before Fanfest.
