Former Kansas City Royals Paul Splittorff and Les Norman will be signing autographs Monday morning at the First Watch restaurant in Independence as part of the "Thanks a Millon, Buck" fundraiser for the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.
All Kansas City area First Watch restaurants will donate the day's profits to the Negro Leagues Museum's efforts to complete the Buck O'Neil Education and Research Center planned for Kansas City.
Splittorff and Norman will sign autographs 8-9 a.m. Monday.
Three other sites will feature former Royals and former Negro Leagues players signing. Brian McRae and Kevin Seitzer will be at the First Watch at The Shoppes at Corporate Woods in Overland Park, Kan. Jeff Montgomery and Al Fitzmorris will be at the First Watch at Pinnacle Village at 119th Street in Overland Park. And former Negro Leagues players Jess Rogers, Ulysses Holliman and DeMorris Smith and former Negro Leagues umpire Bob Motley will be at the First Watch at Old Westport Shopping Center.
Signing sessions are all 8-9 a.m.
