Hall of Famer Carlton making Bowling Green appearance For those of you in or near Bowling Green, Hall of Fame pitcher Steve Carlton will make an appearance Saturday as the Hot Rods take on the Kane County Cougars. Carlton will sign autographs from 6-8 p.m. There's a one-item limit for autographs.

Too bad they didn't plan this too much further ahead of time. Eddie George is supposed to be at the Nashville Sounds game the night before but there is no mention of an autograph session.
