Our latest signing is a great one. We've landed a signing with Jarrod Parker, the #1 prospect in the Arizona Diamondback's organization. Parker was the ninth overall selection in last year's draft, and is currently pitching for the South Bend Silver Hawks of the Midwest League. Click below to view his stats so far this year! As always, we have spoken with Parker's agent and have a signed agreement to meet with Parker IN PERSON sometime in late June or July. We won't have the exact date until early next week, primarily because we're trying to land a second signing. Since we're flying out to Indiana, we'd like to get more than one signing out of the trip. Awesome, this kid is getting tough and being in the DBacks system means he could debut as early as this season. According to his agent, "he only has a start or two left in South Bend," but then again his agent was really trying to make him out to be the next Nolan Ryan, who knows though, he may be right! Let me know a final number just so I can keep track. Thanks!

I heard also that he is going to be called up within the next few weeks as a friend of mine works for the Silver Hawks and was talking to Jarrod about it last week.
