Just finished this painting to get signed at Sports Gallery, this is the shot from his division-clinching home run on September 28th, 2010.

I took part in the signing with The Sports Gallery as well. I got a 16 X 20 canvas print signed by him in blue paint pen and it really looks great! The Sports Gallery always does a great job on their signings!!!

can you post a photo...... Also how did you decide and know the Blue would turn out. I have tried Red and Orange before and both have been a disaster.

Here is the Bruce canvas. It is a little bright with the flash of the camera!!! However the sig is very crisp. How did I decide on blue? I experimented with different colors on a piece of canvas to see how they worked. I finally figured out that the Deco Color broad tip paint pen worked the best on canvas. My first real live experiment was at the Reds' Caravan with an 8 X 10 canvas print of Brandon Phillips. He signed with that same paint pen and it worked out great. I have also experimented with red and that worked as well. I do not like the black paint pen on canvas but that is just personal preference. I have also used that same paint pen on a 20 X 30 metallic print and it looks fabulous. From an autograph standpoint, the broad tip Deco Color paint pens work great on the McFarlane bases as well. I have one signed by both Ryne Sandberg and Rollie Fingers and they turned out great. A lot of people glue cut signatures to those bases but I really like the paint pens. They just look more authentic!

Thank you, Earlman1. I appreciate the compliment.

Yes, I can do original paintings to sell, depending on which picture you want.

Email me at aansara@gmail.com and I can give you details.

Thanks.

Here's the final signed piece. Just picked it up last night. Signature is huge (consider the painting is 24x36"). Enjoy! Can't wait to hang it up.
