This one is open to the public, City Hall Plaza is right of Elm St and maybe
3 or 4 blocks down from the Verizon wireless arena... They should be
announcing the roster shortly...


Manchester’s City Hall Plaza will be the site for Monday’s downtown rally to welcome the 2006 Fisher Cats. The event, beginning at noon, will give fans a chance to meet players, collect autographs and win prizes. Fungo the mascot, sporting a new coat of fur, will also be in attendance

Dave that sounds like a neat event too...I always love these events at the start of the year. Everyone is so pumped for the season and there is always so much enthusiasm for the season!

Monday night from 6:00-7:30 PM the 2006 team will be having their first practice at Fisher Cats Ballpark and the workout will be open to the public for the first time in the team's history! Come enjoy the ballpark while catching your first glimpse of the Fisher Cats in action FREE OF CHARGE.

I'm not sure how accurate that roster is. How come the Fishercats have their roster, yet, no other team in the EL or other Toronto affiliates have theirs? I think the FCats are jumping the gun just like they did when they said they were going to be playing a game this season at Fenway Park.

actually inside to dome and bluejay way had them the
same day the cats got them. I was at open practice last
night and all of the players that I could recognize were
there. It was freezing so you didn't really miss anything.

and, don't get me started on the Red Sox, ok you
just did!!

Yes, the new owner of the Fishercats screwed up by talking
out of line but since 99% of Fishercats fans are also Red Sox
fans, By not letting the cats and seadogs play at Fenway the sox
are simply hurting their loyal NH (and Maine) fans. I really don't
care for the way the Red Sox treat their fans. I won the monster
seat lottery and, on the day of the sale, my password wouldn't
work. I emailed them for an explanation and they couldn't be
bothered to reply. Of course they still thought enough
about me to send me spam for Red Sox nation...
