Somerset Patriots Tryout Camp 3/31/12

The Somerset Patriots are holding an open tryout on Saturday, March 31st. I don't know how you'd be able to tell what players would show up, but Patriots manager Sparky Lyle, coach Travis Anderson and VP (and former MLB'er) Rob Lukachyk will be on hand. Registration is at 9am, tryouts from 10am-1pm.

Bridgeport follows suit Sunday April 15th (wow, nothing like last minute planning!) and will have Willie Upshaw, Terry McGriff and "some Major League scouts" in attendance.

Bridgeport signed a few players from their last tryout. But yeah, keep in mind it's Indy ball to begin with, so it's not like they're gonna find some hot rookie or something. Still, might be a good idea to get some of those fringe guys cards signed, guys you never thought you'd see again. That is, if there was a way to find out who was attending.
