2008 Fanfests Thread

It does help and the Giants Fanfest is rumored to be in February 2008 and the A's fanfest may be at the same day as the Giants one.

Last time that happened, there were 30,000 more people for the Giants fanfest.

I called the Rays today and they said Fanfest was on the 23rd of February.

Well I already have tickets, so looks like I will be trying it out. I just mainly want to get a guy or two that I have trouble with during the year. Do a lot of players end up showing up for this?

If I recall correctly, last year pretty much the whole team showed up. But I heard that sheffield only signed for approx. a half hour. Last year you would pretty much just wait in line, the person would sign for 1 hour and then rotate with someone else. I waited in line for 1 1/2 hours for Jim Leyland.

If anybody cares, Brian McCann and Jeff Francouer will speaking at the Baseball Conference the 1st day of the Braves Fanfest. I know some people are attending both events back and forth.
