With paid signings I believe the limits lie in the size of your wallet.

Mike from Sureshot has run an Ortiz signing before, while he was under Steiner. He must have to pay an absurd amount of money to be able to get the rights to Ortiz from Steiner. It can be done, though.

Ortiz could care less. He is under "agreement" with them to sign x amount of pieces, however he actually refused to sign more for them. It went to court, and I noticed they had new pieces online, so I assume they ruled he still had to sign for them. I don't think he is "exclusive" anymore though.
