I'm shocked that Deion would sign for $55. I eat, sleep, and breathe Cowboys football so I know all about his "normal" rates, and this is actually one of the lowest fees I've seen yet. If I lived anywhere remotely close to Iowa, I wouldn't hesitate one second to get his and Killebrew's (another suprisingly low signing fee). In fact, if anyone is going to this show, I would love to work out some sort of deal to get those two guys. I'd pay for shipping and add some money or something else for the trouble.
I will let you know, but last year was really boring. There isn't much to do other than get the autographs or walk around and look at dealers who are selling mostly high end stuff. It will depend on what free guys are going to be there because there are a precious few guys I would pay for and these aren't those guys. Let me guess, you need Sutter for 1987 Fleer?
I also would be interested in Deion, if someone is going, please let me know. I have a pair of his game used cleats from his cowboys' days. One is signed, but has faded slightly, and I would like to get the other cleat signed. To me, the $55 would be worth it, since it is a game used item. I have had great success getting him when he played, but just have not seen him in quite a while.
Add me to the list if anyone is attending this event. I think $55 for Deion is great. He is absolutely going into the football HOF. His numbers do not reflect how great he was because everyone was afraid to throw his way. Per the website there is no restriction on items, so I would assume footballs and cowboy minis are fair game. I will of course pay the shipping and will throw in extra money for whoever can help me out. Thanks.
