Is anybody willing to get a book signed for me? I don't want to pay an arm and a leg but maybe the cost of the book and 5-10 bucks for gas or whatever.

If you call Bookends, they'll have one signed for you and then ship it out. It's really a great service. I did it for Lance Armstrong a few months ago.

It's the cover price of the book then shipping. If I recall, shipping was like $10. It was definitely reasonable (and I didn't have to wait in line for hours).

I emailed BookEnds and they told me to call the store. I asked them if they could have her sign the cover and they said that I can request it, but they can only guarantee the autograph. The price is $23.99 + tax & shipping. Probably looking at about $35. So for about $10 more you can have it shipped and avoid waiting in line.
