Wanted to thank everyone for making this event a success. On to the next one. There were 3 1980 signings over the last year. MAB had a holliday show last winter and we had a show 3 weeks before then. In addtion my brother brought in Dick Ruthven and Wine for an event in Oaks and of course this past week. We also threw Lonnie Smith in there. Out of all of the 1980 Phils every signle member has appeared that is alive with the exception of Billy DeMArs (won't travel due to age) and Bob Walk. Well Bob Walk who has become the toughest in person 1980 Phils will be appearing at our store on July 30th for $20 per with free inscription. I realize you can drive 500 miles and get him at a Pirates festival which would cost most of us $75 in gas as well as another $35 in tolls not to mention your time and the fact you have to visit Pittsburgh. In Phila area the one opportunity to get him is in 2 weeks at our store. He will be signing with Eagles Pro Bowler/1980 team All Pro Bill Bergey. Poppel.com for more info.
