I was told the autograph session and silent auction
start at 6:30 but doors open at 5:30. The silent auction
for charity sounds pretty cool, they will have Fishercats,
Red Sox, and Pats signed memorabilia as well as stuff
from other minor league teams from around the country...

They had signs for 1 per person on every table with the players; however 95% of the people at the dinner were waiting in line for Carpenter to sign first. So I started with all the other players first. All the players were earger to sign more than 1 and didn't mind at all. Very nice night, even saw some people from SASE there.

The Fishercats put on a great night.
The whole thing was very well run and
because everything was for charity, it
had a completely different vibe than your
typical card show signing. Aaron Hill did
a very nice job and spoke for maybe 25
minutes. I forgot to ask him "hey is Fenway
a dump or what?" Chris Carpenter is a saint,
he appeared for free and donated his Cy Young
winnings to the charity... He also had
alot of friends and family there, we sat
with his best friend... I didn't win any of
the auction items but did bid on a bunch
of things...

all in all a cool night...
