What a sh*t show this "signing" was. It was the first bass pro shop made in new england and many many people were in attendence for it. I guess the bass pro shops are mainly a southern store and aren't located up in my area(MA). Anyways there was a few retired patriots, a fisherman, and a nascar driver in attendence along with current patriots Mike Vrabel,Rodney Harrison, and Matt Light. Tom Brady was even there for the introduction of the store but left within minutes after it officially opened. The signing was supposed to be so you could get anything you wanted signed but since there was...no joke...10,000+ people at this event for the store opening along with the signing they had the players sign 5x7s and give them to the people. To make this story short I got there at about 5:30 and was so far back in the line the three current patriot players left early before I could even get to the front so I left. It was just one of those days that come along every now and then!

HOLY GOD 10,000 people showed up to that signing???

Seriously I thought the Tayshaun Prince appearances around here draw to many crowds lol. Tell me more of this story on here or AIM....

It was not really a signing it was a grand opening of a bass pro shop, which is the first location of a bass pro shop in new england. They said these stores are popular down south. Anyways those players were there signing autographs inside the store.... the store was massive....two floors, elevators, stairs, it even had 2 resturants inside of it! Thats what drew such a unbelievable crowd not the players even though they did account for some of the people there. I was fortunate because I really enjoy fishing and autographs so I went looking to have a little of both but I fell through on the autos due to the lines being so long, only 25% of the people got an autograph.

Oh I thought it was because of the players appearances but I had no idea that the store was huge. Yeah I am not into the fishing thing though but I see it was not just the players. What resturants are inside that store??? Yeah I never heard of a bass pro shop that had floors and elevators in it. Very interesting......

I can believe 10,000 people there. Places like Cabela's and Bass Pro Shop draw huge crowds. I hear people plan vacations just to go to these openings, I was in Connecticut for the LOU/UConn game when Cabela's opened up a few weeks ago, and there had to be atleast 100 trailers in the parking lot.

Agree..those Cabelas and Bass Pro Stores are huge. We have one of each about an hour in 2 different directions and my hubby spends quite a bit of time (and money) in those places. He's an avid hunter and fisherman so he's in them fairly regularly. I remember when the Cabelas opened about 2 years ago...the place was packed. you couldnt even negotiate the aisles and lines to check out were half way around the store. Frankly those places bore me to tears but he really enjoys them.
