NFL Star Hillis to Sign Autographs Thursday
Former Razorback to Attend Travs' Homestand Opener

Denver Bronco running back and former Arkansas Razorback Peyton Hillis will be in attendance at Thursday’s Arkansas Travelers game against the Midland RockHounds. Hillis, a Conway, Ark., native, will be signing autographs for a limited time during the game.
During his rookie season in the NFL, Hillis led Denver with 343 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Hillis scored two touchdowns in his first start at running back for the Broncos last November and had a career-high 22 carries and 129 yards against the New York Jets two weeks later. Hillis racked up 959 rushing yards, 1,195 receiving yards and 23 total touchdowns in his four-year Razorback career as a fullback while blocking for 2008 NFL first-round draft picks Darren McFadden and Felix Jones.
The Travelers open a six-game homestand Thursday with a 7:10 p.m. start against Midland. Tim Kiely (1-1, 5.66 ERA) will start for Arkansas with Daniel Haigwood (1-0, 1.59) taking the mound for the RockHounds.
