I went to one of the fanfests at the Giants stadium.....long lines and each are one per. Wasn't nearly as fun as their older ones. You'll have to get them walking away if you want multiples. After radio interviews are good opportunities too.
Giants fest is a pain in the butt. I have never seen such long lines and as someone stated above, it is usually one per. 2-3 years ago I found the stairwell that they were comming in and out of so I went into the stairwell and picked up a few of my autographs that day but got an earfull from a woman handler who was escorting the players to and from autograph sessions. She yelled at me for me getting to a particular player before she was able to stop me. I am thinking of trying it again this year(skipped last year with the painful memories), and they are bringing a full compliment of players including Johnson, Will Clark, Orlando Cepeda, Tim L. and I am hoping with the 40 names they have listed, that they will spread the crowds out around the stadium.
Last year wasn't as bad as the first year they held it at the stadium. They located the autograph lines on the field (2), and then one in the above private area, and one behind the car in center field. I would say there were 50% less people attending last year's. I only got through 2 lines, and the lines were still long, but other activities were do-able, like the dugout tour. It'll probably be higher attendance this year due to Will Clark and Randy Johnson.
Before, players would just come and sit down, and when they had to leave they were replaced by someone else. Just brings cards of everyone so you're prepared. Being good with faces is a plus, I've seen some players walking around and no one recognizes them [not the famous players obviously], so that could be a good opportunity.
