Tony Gwynn signing in El Cajon, CA

I can take about 2 or 3 items for the event as well. Nothing large i.e. a card or a flat would be ideal.

I can still take a premium item or two, if anyone needs it, please let me know.

you never answered if this is a free signing or what type of apperance this is

It's a free signing at a car dealership.

Gwynn has been El Cajon Ford's spokesman for many years..."Nobody beats El Cajon Ford"...and has usually done this signing twice a year for just as long, well at least since I lived in San Diego and I moved away in 1999.

The signing used to be for two hours and the line was always really long...REALLY LONG and was always a strict one item per person, so the people offering to help must either be bringing friends or paying passers by to get things signed because there is no way and I mean no way they are going to get back in line and double him up, no way.

I understand people wanting to help others, and I too would offer help as well but I know better then to promise people something at a free event like this when you have zero control over how things are going to go. You can arrive to an 11:00 signing like this at 6:00 in the morning and be 20th in line and by the time the signing begins you will be 70th...trust me, it happens all the time and it doesn't matter who's signing...Padres, Angels, Dodgers, Lakers, anyone! If you've been to any type of free appearance then you know what I am talking about as there are no guarantees, so to all those that have sent items to someone I say expect disappointment and be pleasantly surprised otherwise.

Was that question in the above post to me or just made in general? The "Where" part of the first post says it all.

I bribe a few friends/relatives.
