The 2009 Reebok Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game returns to Dr Pepper Ballpark on Saturday, June 13. Join Mike Modano, Michael Irvin, Mark Cuban, and DeMarcus Ware in this annual celebrity baseball game to benefit charity. Festivities include the Baylor Medical Center at Frisco Celebrity Home Run Derby at 4 p.m. and the Celebrity game at 6 p.m.
Several Dallas-area sports stars are participating in this event including Modano, Marty Turco, and Brenden Morrow of the Stars and Ware, Jason Witten, Jay Ratliff, Bradie James, and Martellus Bennett of the Cowboys. Former football greats will also take the diamond such as Irvin, Heisman Trophy winner and NFL receiver Tim Brown, and NFL defensive lineman Warren Sapp.
Major league Hall of Famer Wade Boggs will manage one team, while former major league All-Star Matt Williams will manage the other team.
