2009 Redsfest!!!! Who's going????

Lots of fanfests do that. Somebody still has to enforce it, which I doubt will be done consistently.

Chris

I would agree- I knew they had it set up that way each year, but since they had volunteers manning the autograph stations, they never enforced the policy. However, if they have full-time employees at the stations, then I would guarantee they'd enforce the 1 per.

According to this it's 2-per each time you reach the front of a line... (there's also "Fast Passes" available that allow you to jump immediately to the front of any line):

No, it's not saying it's 2-per each time you get to the front of the line. It's saying you can go to the front of 2 lines each day. All for over 50 bucks!

Only thing about those Fast Passes is you cant go into the children's line or the Season Ricket Holder line.

I bidded one because they have great resell value as the event draws nearer.

Im in last year for example several non-star players or former reds would sign multipule autographs. Players had there own set limits Arroyo wanted to sign more but told the lady in front of me he could only sign one and said he was sorry some dumb lady was with him. Can't wait.

"Big" names will generally be 1 per- Votto, Bruce, Cueto, probably Phillips and Arroyo (although both of them have signed multiples in past years at times). Arthur Rhodes was 1 per because he didn't really want to be signing anyway. Everybody else has signed multiples for me almost without exception. there were 2 people sitting with players last year who seemed bent on enforcing 1 per. All the other volunteers generally had nothing to say about it as long as the player was willing.

In short I wouldn't spend a lot of time worrying about it. Pray the Bengals keep winning so this town spends more time being mesmerized by pro football and forgets about the Reds.

Chris

I'll be there, both days, like the last couple years. Will consider taking a couple 50/50's since there really isn't anyone I absolutely need.

They've given the same 1-per statement each year, but like Chris said, I've never had an issue with any of the minor league guys or non-star players. They'll be strict on the 1-per for the big name guys, but that's mainly because those lines are ridiculous and I think they want to get as many through as possible in that hour.

I'm guessing Arroyo may be in attendance but might not sign if he's still playing the carpal tunnel card. Hoping they start giving some updates on who's going to be there.

You can if you borrow a kid (coughmathiscough) or get a STH ticket on eBay or from someone at Redsfest. They are pretty easy to come by.
