more likely cost cutting. instead of renting a building or having at Turner Field and needing to get security and other staff, they just rent a bus and let Academy deal with the rest.

Should be interesting to see who they send on the caravans since it's more of a mobile fan fest. I don't blame the Braves to going to Nashville since Cincinnati gave up on going any further south than their back yard.

The Braves have been able to recruit every one of the players on their 40-man roster to participate in some way, shape, or form with the Atlanta metro stops and clusters of players in the outer states. Some with be sent to just sign autographs while some will be sent to radio stations for interviews about the upcoming season. They will also have some big-named minor leaguers and notable former players who will appear at each stop. The Braves will also make appearances outside of the listed local stops at hospitals and elementary schools.

Tim Hudson and Brian McCann will be caravan leaders.

Does anyone have a list of players yet? I think the Braves have forgotten that they have a website and aren't updating it.

It's doubtful the Braves have forgotten they have a website. They just don't care enough about their fans to provide any worthwhile details about anything on it.

I called today and the lady said they didn't know the schedule yet and it would come down to the last minute. She told me to check back on Thursday.
