You dont bring me any money. You guys create a buzz because you all have a huge desire to get stuff signed. Thats wonderful. I have a reputation of having clients who are tough signers, I sell that to the companies, and they hand out the contracts. There is no real issue here. This whole thread is insanity to me, Im so irrelevant it's not even funny, why the hell is anybody even responding to this anymore??? I do enjoy the Maury show to be honest with you. Like I said I am not above criticism obviously, Id really like one of you, just one to call me and help me out over the phone. It's tough writing anonymously via the internet I know but since nobody is calling what can I do. I do enjoy however that we've all denegrated to name calling, has everyone really run out of things to say?

Nobody cares what you do, we're in an autograph forum, not a agent self-help forum. If I was to help you with anything, it would be your lack of self confidence because it's really sad that you're so starved for attention that you try to make a spectacle of yourself among people you have nothing in common with.

Im glad you're privy to my dealings with Steiner sports. I dont even get wrapped up in any of this, I just happened to be the one guy who posts what really happens out there. I really should make a suggestion box for everyone here since everyone is so incredibly skillful at running a sports agency. Until I came here I actually thought I knew how to run my business but once again I owe a huge debt of thanks to all the great people here who have helped me realize how poorly I was actually doing my job. Im also not going to waste time citing specific examples of players who sign and dont sign either we all know there are examples of everything. This isnt even about fame or opportunity. This is strictly about the money. You guys dont realize how much you all help me here by responding to all this. I have 8 guys in the next bowman set. 8 all because of some stupid buzz that my clients dont like to sign. Out of 110 cards in the set I have 8 guys in the set. It's nothing personal really. Personally, I couldnt care less what these guys do with regards to signing, but as a professional, I think Im going to keep doing what Im doing.
I am very happy you have 8 guys in the next bowman set. Great Job, you have talked a bunch of teenagers into trusting you. The funny thing is you don't seem to have any name players, and by name players I mean guys that the Average guy will know and he is not just in Bowman Sets but he is in Topps sets for the next ten years. You had a chance but those guys seem to leave, I wonder why? Tell you what, take the names of the 8 guys you have in the Bowman set and ask 10 everyday sports fans who they are. Tell me what you find out. In case you havent gotten it yet guys in the Bowman set are for the most part barly in pro ball. Many are 1 pitch away from working at the food store. By the time the set comes out a few will already be out of baseball. Stop being an idiot and a smart a$$. We are the customer base for Bowman, we are the ones who care about the guy who did not make it past AA. You are like a clerk at McDonalds calling every one fat slobs. Don't piss off the customer base

And for this the players are obligated to sign on command everything you put in front of them? I dont think so. Here's what I tell players. Sign everyday, smile be cordial, be yourself, personalize photos, side pannel baseballs and thats your day. The average work a day fan couldnt care less about that stuff, it's the uptight "collectors" who flip out if something is in the wrong color that get mad. I still DONT see anything wrong with my suggestions.
Uptight collectors are the ones spending the money that goes into licensing. We buy the balls, cards and supplies the goes back into making baseball a ton of $$. Tell you what bigshot. Why dont you write a letter on your agency's letter head to Topps and Upper Deck and tell them how you feel about uptight collectors. I am sure with that type of respone you will have 16 players in next years bowman.

Name recognition is completely irrelevant. I could make a ton of money representing "no names" and still be happy. This is a 6 billion dollar a year industry. Guys like solomon torres are making 5 million dollars a year. Henry Owens 1.5 mil. You dont even need "star" players to hit it big. Obviously thats the goal of everyone. Since everyone is so down on no name guys who are 1 pitch away from working at mcdonalds why even waste your time trying to get their autographs? Somebody please answer me that. So because you dont like me all of the sudden you're going to boycott bowman products? Im irrelevant to everyone here so all anyone can do is sulk and be mad. You guys arent my customer base so I dont lose sleep over any of you.

Companies pay for licensing rights, Owners pay salaries, players pay me. I fail to see where you fans come into the equation. You guys arent going anywhere anytime soon so why should I even be worried about you?

And besides the "name player" problem, I think everyone here knows my 8 guys since you're the "target market" thats all that matters right?

Hey Josh, can I have your graph cash?

I keep losing in the casino.

I love agents and think a lot of your points are valid. I used to be a real estate agent and got bad mouthed until people tried to sell their house on their own.

You shouldn't be, that's the whole point. You're not grasping the simple point that this has nothing to do with your policies. You were unliked around here long before you became an agent. The same people still don't care for you now, and you still crawl back for redemption because you think you've accomplished something and someone here is going to be impressed.

I don't care how much you do or how much money you make, as long as you're still so ashamed of yourself that you need to run around seeking approval from random people, you'll never impress me.
