Why keep feeding this guy? All he wants is attention. Let's all let this thread die out, and Josh can resurface in 6 months with another pointless thread.

I am actually rethinking why I invited him to post this in the 1st place. I thought he knew this was an autograph COLLECTORS community.

I've already agreed to send in some cards as have others but I am sure some are retracing their steps to see how this went so wrong, so fast.

No offense Josh, but to use your line of thinking, no one really NEEDS an autograph just like players really don't NEED agents but at the end of the day NEEDS and WANTS are 2 different things.

And again, no offense but if I am any of the guys under your stable of players, I would be honored to have someone want me to sign a sweetspot or a photo. At least that means that person paid the licensing fees on photos and the royalities for the MLB balls which in the end fund that huge brass ring that all these players strive for.

And A-rod still paid boras. Somebody has to write the contracts. If teams were honest and fair I wouldnt have a job. I provide a tremendous amount of help to families going through the draft process. Teams would railroad these kids if it werent for advisors. My job and responsibilites are to the players and nobody else. I work for them and do what they say. I work for them. If anyone is to "blame" (I dont see anything wrong with the way sports are) for the current situation you can thank the owners for countless years of segregation, collusion and the reserve clause.

but he did what he thought were in his best interests. not what he was advised. your side railroads just as much as the teams. who in the %$#@ told matt harrington to not take his deal. or maurice claretts million dollar deal with the broncos. where are they now? this sport has urned into a bizillion dollar affair. right or wrong it's out of control. and people like you are part of the problem. you talk out of both sides of your mouth. one time you are ushering the players away from the collectors, the next time you are buddy buddy with them in a hotel pimping out one of your clients for $$$. very unprofessional.
i agree this is way out of hand and i'm done responding, but i can't believe you don't see the issue....

Harrington was even offered a smaller sum after his million dollar contract and he refused.

dont forget sean gallagher

Gallagher's current agent is awesome with autographs. At the cubs convention I was sitting on the players floor and his agent started talking to us about autographs and I showed him the cards of Gallagher and he took them and got a page of 9 signed.
