Yeah...most signings are one per due to the sheer volume of people that are attending. They want to get as many people thru the line as they possibly can to satisfy as many fans as possible in the time allotted. Especially with the bigger name gus..in this case Nomar and Gagne and Penny. In different settings you may be able to get more than one per but not likely ina signing such as this. Nowadays each player has their "handlers" standing behind them controlling what they sign and how many. In alot of cases its NOT the player making the one per call..its their handlers or whoever is in charge of the event.
