URGENT MATT ANTONELLI SIGNING UPDATE:

There has been a price change. I spoke to Matt Antonelli’s agent this morning, and due to overwhelming demand, I had to renegotiate the terms of the signing. The original deal was a signing for a flat rate of one dollar to the customer. Due to over 250 autograph requests yesterday, the terms had to be renegotiated to accommodate so many requests. The price for a signature is now two dollars per item. If you have already sent your payment, please send the remaining balance before the signing (Friday, January 11). Any items that aren’t fully paid for will not be signed. If you decide that you no longer want Matt’s signature, I will refund your purchase using the S.A.S.E. that you provided. With so many requests, this is the only refund that I can offer.

I am displeased and disappointed with the situation, and I genuinely apologize for the inconvenience. When it is all said and done, you are getting Matt Antonelli’s signature for a flat rate of $2 per item. Baseball America recently named Matt the #2 prospect in the Padres system. This signing is still a great deal for any collector that knows baseball. As I said earlier, the signing is scheduled for Friday, January 11. I will package the signed items over that weekend, and expect your signed Matt Antonelli memorabilia to reach you the following week. Thank you for your interest and support.

Don't prices for items typically go DOWN the more you purchase????? Like buying in "Bulk quantity?"

I would have thought they would be happier that you had more items as t hat is more money in his pocket...Now, even though it is only a dollar more I think a lot of people will change their mind...

I know you don't have any control over it topprospect but I think it would have been more professional for his agent to say this signing will be $1 (as agreed upon) and any future signing will be $2 or whatever price...
