I thought a buck was too cheap for any player. Private signings take up time and time is money.

No airfare needed. He lives an hour from me and we are meeting at his house on the 11th.

He may live close to the guy or he may be mailing them to him so that the guy can sign them in the comfort of his own home at any time he pleases.

I really appreciate everyone taking to this as they have. I thought I was going to get a lashing, but people have really understood the situation. Nope, even though I have known Manny since Double A, he aint gonna sign many items for FREE.
Topprospect, no one bashed you because they took it all out on me with my 1st Ryan Anderson signing. People were killing me back then. Glad to see we opened some eyes that players are available to knock out our set cards. Wait til this season. I will be lining guys up left and right.

With it being $5 for Ryan Anderson...I can only imagine how much Manny will cost. How many big league innings did Ryan pitch?
