Meet and Greet CT Defenders 4/5

March 29, 2006 - (Norwich, Conn.) -- The Connecticut Defenders have scheduled the 2006 Fan Fest for Wednesday, April 5 at Dodd Stadium, beginning at 5:00 p.m. This year’s Fan Fest will introduce the first-ever team to wear the Defenders uniform. The day’s events are as scheduled:

5:00 p.m. - Shawn Holliday, Welcome
5:05 p.m. - General Manager Jim Beaudoin, Opening Remarks
5:10 p.m. - Shawn Holliday, Team introduction
5:15 p.m. - Manager Dave Machemer, Comments
5:20 p.m. - Media Interviews / Fan Autographs, Concourse
5:45 p.m. - Team stretch, Field
6:00 p.m. - Team workout, Field

Admission is free to the public and all fans and media are invited to stay for the team workout. The new souvenir store will be open and a limited concession menu will be available. A stadium tour will begin shortly after 6:00 p.m.

i wish i could go, but i dont have the cards for the season that i want, and dont have a roster yet... if i had a roster i could have a chance to buy cards, but the defenders are too slow with everything..

they are slow..but then again alot of the teams wont release their rosters till monday. Most likely these guys will be on the team for that event.
