Michael Burgess Signing Update. Photos are in...

It's the idea of a guy who's lucky to have someone asking be a jerk about it. If Burgess is playing in 3 years he'll be lucky, he should appreciate fans while he has them. A guy like Jay Bruce signs all kinds of stuff and he has a reason to be difficult. What has Burgess done? Hit a few homers off some guys who'll be pumping gas in 2 years. Me personally, I wanted 7 because I managed to have 7 cards, and as an autograph collector, I don't really want unsigned cards. Your 2nd question is kind of silly to me. It's not "why would I want them", but more "why would he have a problem with it?"

I know what you mean, I hate having unsigned cards left as well. I know he isnt doing the greatest but time will come and either he will turn around or he will be pumping gas as well. I know what you mean that he is being like this but we should all be happy that they sign. They dont need to sign for us. I understand what you mean but you need to see what they see. Players do private signings, sign thousands of items(stickers) for companies and signs non stop on the road. Does he have to sign everything? No but he could be nicer when he signs one and just say "just 1 for now guys". Yes players should have more respect but there are people who have pages of 8 and goes up to him 10 times you know what I mean....But I do understand what you mean.

Yeah, and don't misunderstand me. I'm not upset at all about the 3 out of 7 deal. He signed one each of my different so I'm very cool with that. The whole point was the attitude the kid had. He's young, so maybe it's immaturity, but I didn't see a reason for him to be such a (for lack of a better word) jerk about it. It's his attitude that I had a problem with.

For me, a lot of the fun in this IP graphing thing is meeting the really cool guys who make the experience memorable. And the really cool guys far outnumber the jerks, so I keep doing it. Meet a guy like Josh Labandeira, Jon Weber, Jack Spradlin...those guys you instantly root for because they are so damn cool. Guys like Burgess, I could care less if he ever has any success. Reap what you sow kind of thing...

Yeah I understand that. If they were like " sorry bud only 1 for now" that would be cool. but if they are jerks about it then its like come on man be nicer about things and people would understand
