On Monday, there will be a huge prospect signing session at the Team Store on Yawkey way. For only 10 dollars you get everyone they list! I wish I could go.

"The players attending the Rookie Program who are expected to take part in the autograph session include pitchers Craig Hansen and Clay Buchholz and the Boston Baseball Writers 2006 Red Sox Minor League Player of the Year, outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury. Others taking part will be pitchers Nick Debarr, Kason Gabbard, Kyle Jackson, Edgar Martinez, and David Pauley; catcher George Kottaras; third baseman Chad Spann; and outfielders Brandon Moss, and David Murphy."

Although its 1 per... I may go despite this and the weather.... anyone know if this is still a go?

Do they run a similar program to the Cleveland Indians where they bring in 10-12 minor league guys and run them through a bunch of off the field drills like handeling media, doing autograph appearances, working on English and such?

It's a pretty unique training program, I don't know if the Indians do it, but I think only a few other teams do it. Most of the training is mental preparation for the major leagues.
