Potential AP Signing

I'm going to try to work with BleedingBlue on this one, I sent another quote to his agent, $70 8x10's and minis, $90 helmets, jerseys, and 16x20's or larger. 50-100 items. How many would be up for that?

We would not be interested.

Well, it sounded good while it lasted, with a restructured offer, he passed again. This is dead.

This is why kids should not be doing this.

Ditto... Not approved by AM either... All it does is clutteer the market place of REAL signings, and add to confusion.

You know what the agent wanted... like 1000 pieces at like 25-30 per... you drop 30 G's tax free in the Agent's lap and he'll clear a 2 hour block to get it done.

Most people on here can NOT clear the Volume of items needed to get signings done at a fair price.

Not only that, but seriously there are reasons why Alan put the rules out. This kid had no idea what he was doing. If you really want to do a signing, you conduct the negotiations, then come here when you get approval from the agent on pricing. You don't do it the other way around. He just looks like an idiot right now because he had no idea what he was doing. Why conduct this anyways?

ohh... and on a random note... when will people learn you always ask for the hourly rate FIRST before talking a per-item rate. You can do very well by the hour.

Many Agents don't understand hourly vs piece deals, and you can do well.. Offer a guy like AP $10,000 for an hour signing and you can do well IF you can move 500+ items...

Because the majority of people on this forum, either don't have the money, or don't know what they are doing. Both of those reasons should be good reasons not to try and conduct signings.
