Ryan Braun Signing

Well I actually decided to go. Here are the details.

I left here around 11am, for the one hour trip to milwaukee. Got to milwaukee about 12:10 parked, $10, got into the show for $8, and asked the usher where the signing was taking place. However she explained to me that they were at full capacity and were no longer accepting people in line. I was a little upset, be knew this was possible because of how famous he has become. So I scope it out and decide to wait it out in the forming "maybe" line. I was probably at least #50 in that line, and I was told there were 300 in the for sure line. People got there reportedly at 8:00 am!!!

Long story short Ryan comes and signs up a storm, gets through the first 300 in maybe and hour, then signs for another 75 including me in the maybe line!!!

Ryan Braun-1/1 SSROMLB w/ #08

His agent would not allow any ROY 07 all day I believe, and he was personalizing most baseballs, till the end where I got him with no personilization. Sweet Success, glad that Ryan Braun is a real class act!

Nice work and congrats. Living here in Mke. I heard during the season at times would not sign ss for people so consider yourself lucky. Congrats again. I'd love seein a pic if possible. I'm desperate to see baseball graphing resume on here lol.

Well I made it back just fine, a little tired, but glad I went. I ended up getting there at about 9:30 and would've been around 9 had the weather not slowed us down in the stretch from Beloit over to Milwaukee. While we were waiting to even enter before the gates open, they came out and said 1 per (which we figured) and everything was going to be personalized. This made a lot of people upset and groan. One guy behind us ended up waiting until about 10:45 (about 1 1/4 hours total) and then was so mad ended up leaving. I was about 75 or so in line and got through in like 15 min. Because of the huge crowd, they didn't personalize anything that I saw. (That would've sucked to have been the guy who was so upset about the whole having it personalzied thing that he left, only to find out there weren't any personalizations) I also asked for the ROY incription but was told the same thing that it was a no due to time restraints. I think he would've written it, b/c when I asked he held the ball and looked at his agent for the yes/no. I ended up trying to get back in line since it went so fast at the beginning, but ended up being pretty far back and didn't get through again. O well, at least I got one! He was very nice, saying thank you's and everything even though he was trying to knock them out as quickly as he could. I was pretty impressed, especially with how hard I've heard he's already become at the ballpark.

He wouldnt do SS in Detroit when they came in June but was a class act and signed almost every time we saw him. I am going to try and get a SS done in Maryvale next month as all I have him on is 1 8x10 and a few cards.

Mike
