Senior Bowl 2007

Brady Quinn made it official he will not be playing in the game but will still be going to the senior bowl. and hopefully the fanfest.
 
Jeff Samardzija will play baseball only. This may mean he will not be in the senior bowl.
 
yeah. I know but he could still be there like Quinn.

Was at the hotel all day today...Security can be difficult at times.

Chris Leak - saw about 4 times and would never sign
Quinn - I was the only one there and he turned me down.
Troy Smith - Handler wouldn't let him sign.

Also, there were several guys (nobodies I might add) that said they couldn't sign for free...Really weird.

I got 20 or so guys but it was a long day. I hope for all you guys who do the practices that it is better than the hotel. I won't be going back to the hotel...
 
The dealers who go there have ruined this for the collectors, especially one in particular. They constantly hound these guys from the moment they arrive at the airport to the hotel to the practices, etc, etc. They hand these guys a stack of photos, 30 at a time sometimes. Everything they do is to the extreme. By the time the collectors get there, the players are tired of it. When they would cut them off, they started offering the players anywhere from $3 to $5 per item for them to sign when they would not sign anymore for them. They get away with this until their agents show up/are around. I guess word has gotten around to the players about this and now they don't want to "sign for free".

I am not against getting multiple things signed, heck, I will be the first to hand 2 or 3 things to a college or minor league guy, but when you have 30 photos, all the same pic, it gets pretty obvious.
 
Who did you get to sign? And also do you think they will sign for a kid?
