This is from Jon Anderson ...

Still have Perkins and liriano lined up for late June-July. Only other ones I recall posting on there before Alan tried to get cash from me to continue posting. Can't even log in SG, so please post and tell anyone that has questions or would like a refund to contact me at THIS email address.

For reference on Alderson signing, I was only given permission to get 25 items signed on April 28th, as the agent wanted to witness the signing and couldn't make it that day. This was the original delayed date after Tim couldn't do the signing in AZ(once I was already out there he tells me). May 13th was agreed upon date for Tim, agent, and myself, but he got promoted. This has been an absolute nightmare, but I have kept pushing it to get all 240 items done for orders.

I have to laugh, "only given permission to get 25 items signed". You can throw 25 items in front of Tim and he will do them all - without his agent there.

FOLKS, I spoke with an agency on Friday about Jon. He is setting up deals and then backing out after signing contracts. He IS NOT DOING a signing with Perkins BECAUSE HE IS MIA AND HAS NOT PAID THE DEPOSIT.

This is per the agent's own lips. I would not send Jon anything at all. I am not saying he is potentially scamming people but he ain't doing it right, thats for damn sure.

When I told him he had to pay $100 a year to publish his FOR_PROFIT signings, he balked and said he didn't have the money.

Is this the kind of guy you want to send your items and money to? One that doesn't return agents phone calls, doesn't pay the deposit money he agreed in writing to pay and now can't even spend a second to log into this site to post his own comments for himself???

Food For Thought!

Funny, you should speak with Jeff again. He MISREAD the contract, and claimed payment was due on an arbitrary date when it was not. All things have been cleared up, and the Perkins signing is still 100% happening (albeit now on their trip to Anaheim, same with Liriano).

Commenting how I am not doing it right is interesting coming from you, as I have heard plenty of stories myself on your business practices. All who contacted me even slightly concerned about the Alderson delays got immediate refunds without question.

Regarding the for profit signings, please show me where I make money off this site. I see this site as a place to move quantity on pre-sales at BARELY over cost, just so I am not stuck on having hundreds of items of each player. Why would I pay $100 for the right to post signings when I don't need to? Re-read the email as well, you seem to be imagining me saying I didn't have the money.

I'm sorry that I've apparently caused you some great harm Alan, since I know you have never been busy and didn't have the time to check a website. I don't disappear from my obligations like a certain member here, I actually return items and process refunds immediately when people ask me to.

Coming from the guy who once bragged to me how much money you've made on your signings from the members on this site, you don't sound like someone I'd want to send my items to either, that's for sure.

You are a piece of work Jon. Where and to whom did I brag about making money off the signings I have done? Where??? I am sorry that agencies now all of a sudden are the bad guys and they misunderstood the contract THEY wrote. Jeff from SFX Sports personally called me about you on Friday. Hardly some hearsay.

You ditched people and left them in the dark before. Me personally and you always have some excuse. What did you tell Taylor Green? What did you tell me when you commited to buying stuff from my signing then disappearing for a month. Excuse after excuse.

The bottom line is you are a liar as evident by your message to PSUGator above. No one stopped you from posting in here, I just told you not to post about your signings. You could have came in here and posted messages or replied back to people who paid you for the signings you claimed to have setup and took their money from. How many was it now that you had issues with? Alderson, that pitcher from the Marlins, Matt Gamel, Glen Perkins, Taylor Green, ... and those are just the ones I am aware of. Who knows how many you actually have set up and disappeared from.

So spin it however you like pal but at the end of the day, it is what it is.

I stand by my original message to you - don't post your "signings" on here in any shape or form. Not through PM's, not through emails, not not, not ever!

I will leave you with this nugget of wisdom:

Excuses are tools of the incompetent
They build monuments of nothingness
And bridges leading to nowhere
Those who specialize in excuses
Are seldom successful in anything

With all due respect to everyone on this board....when do I get to say I told you so?

These private signings are just one headache after another. File this one in the private signings gone wrong folder - that folder is getting pretty thick. Its just another situation which gives autograph collectors a bad image in the eye of the athlete....
