The Royals one have Grienke and some older players. Frank White, Willie Wilson, Joe Randa, John Wathan, Greg Pryor, Jeff Montgomery, Mike Macfarlane, Brian McRae, Jamie Quirk were some form last years.

Matt Stairs is legit!!

Don't get me wrong Stairs and Eyre are both great guys. Stairs' home run in the 2008 NLCS will be forver remembered, but if I'm paying $75, at least have Werth, Victorino, Utley, or Howard show up. The best autograph at these things is probably Ruben Amaro Jr. and Charlie Manuel.

I haven'st been able to find any info about the royals fanfest to get a list of names.. but if anyone goes would somone be able to help me out with willie wilson, Frank White and Brian Mcrae, I heard they have been there in tha past

Thought I'd get a master list going of Baseball Fan Fests this winter. Add them when you find confirmed dates.

Baltimore Orioles Family Fanfest in Sarasota -- November 14
Cincinnati Reds -- December 4-5
Kansas City Royals -- January 15-16
Chicago Cubs -- January 15-17
St. Louis Cardinals -- January 16-18
Chicago White Sox -- January 22-24
Pittsburgh Pirates -- January 29-31
Minnesota Twins -- January 29-31
Milwaukee Brewers -- January 31
San Francisco Giants - February 6
Florida Marlins -- February 13

I think they are going to change it up a little bit this year, I know that Pujols tickets are going to be limited and HIGH but the other players last year they sold tickets but you could still get tickets the day of the show. Also, they said they planned on having more free signers, so that would mean more minor league players.

Do the Cardinals do tickets for all the players or just for certain players ?

In the past they have had the old guys that still live in the area those would be:

Willie Wilson
Mike McFarland
Brian McRea
Frank White
Joe Randa

So there is a good chance those guys will be there, they had 10 or 12 old Royals players at last years fan fest some were cool (Greg Pryor) some not so much (Jim Eisenreich). But all in all it was pretty good, I will be there this year too.

How come the Yankees don't have a fanfest...you'd think with the amount of duckets we dish out they would consider it a way to give back to the fans?
