FINALLY!!!!

When I woke up this morning, I had a message from my buddy to call him. When I called, he was sitting with Anderson Amador and getting him to sign all my cards.

Finally we made this meeting happen! He only played in rookie ball but finding Amador has been one of the toughest yet!

I would be interested if you could get Anderson Amador. After the Yankees got 4 years of Gulf Coast League for their $800,000 investment I hope his price demands would be very little. I understand there is a lot of cost for your time and troubles and I am happy to compensate you. Keep us updated.

I talked to Anderson for a few minutes on the phone today while he was signing my cards. It turns out that he didn't get that big contract, there was a problem with the original deal and he ended up signing for only a fraction of that amount.

He said he's got a tryout with one of the Japanese teams tomorrow so I hope he does well and it ends up getting a contract out of it.

My buddy got Amador to sign the cards and sent them back (along with 1400 other signed cards) today by FedEx. Once I get them I'll figure out a price and let everyone know.

I just got back about 1400 signed cards from David Ortiz's cousin and found some real toughies! I was really happy to get these signed cards back.
