I don't know. From what I've heard his price went way up. I think anyone who grabbed him at Carl's got a steal.

I heard he had over 500 people show up to Carl's Cards. INSANE. Glad I steered clear!!!

I was at the Carl's signing. The line was huge, but not too bad overall. The crowd was orderly and it wasn't too hot.

I got in line at about 6:15 (signing was scheduled from 6:30 - 8:00). My original plan was to wait around until the line thinned and the rush died down. Usually that let's you get a little more time with the athlete rather than being rushed through. But once I parked and saw the line, I figured it wouldn't die down and got in line. I couldn't see anywhere near the front of the line, but it seemed to start on time (if not early). I was done at 7:30 and headed to my car. The line was still REALLY long (although not quite as long as when I got there), but no way they were getting done by 8. Glad I made the choice that I did to get in line because I drove about two miles before it started to POUR down rain. I wouldn't not have been happy to get myself or my stuff soaked (left my umbrella and jacket in the car). They may have sold 500 tickets, but there were more people in line (it became a 'family' thing...Johnny has a ticket, but Mom and two sisters are in tow with him).

Talking to a dealer friend (card store owner) of mine, Carl must have gotten a great deal because they inquired about him but the price would have been a lot more than what Carl got (and more than what is being offered here), and they figured the interest would be 'that' high.
