I was wondering what they would do if they trade Victorino for the photobooth. Knowing our luck they would put Halladay in his place for the 3rd year in a row.
My guess is they'd give photo booth refunds. They already have 2 other booths. I think the last thing they'd want would be to do any more transactions this late (or even later in July) ie selling a Halladay booth, but you never know.
Feel a little bad hi-jacking this thread, but does anyone have any tips for Thome? Gonna try for him in Anaheim this weekend. Does he sign walking in or out? Does he usually take bus or drive himself or get dropped off? Does he sign leaving the game? Do I have a decent shot, or is he bad about even picking up a pen? Does he have a usual spot inside where he signs, etc.?
Thome is hit or miss. He isn't nasty or anything, but if you can get to him and there aren't a lot if people he will sign most likely. Got him a few times his first time with the Phillies driving out and he stopped when there were about 5 people and got him on the field once as well. I got him in NY two years ago when they played the Mets at Citi Field, he can out a side entrance and I was the only one waiting there and he signed. The last time I got him was this year after the Pirates exhibition game at Citizens Bank Park, after the game he walked over to the underground parking lot fence and signed about five autographs before getting into his car.
So sorry for the long response but he isn't an awful signed, you just have to see him and you might have a shot depending on the crowd. Good luck.
Few questions if anyone can help, this will be my first year going. So far I have bought 6 autograph tickets, missed out buying by phone so forced to buy on eBay paying an arm and leg. Anyway, I have bought 6 tickets so far, how many autographs do you have time to get during the event? Can my wife and I walk up and receive the one autograph together? Also, are any of the players willing to so inscriptions? Really only need Charlie or Rollins to add an inscription if possible. Any other advise would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Each ticket is good for one table. Tables have 1 or 2 players/coaches depending on the caliber. Ex: Utley is by himself but Fontenot and Schwimer could be together. You can get one auto per ticket but my fiance and I have been able to get one each per ticket depending on how fast you can bring a ball/photo up without people seeing you. I have never personally gotten an inscription but I have never asked. I think some of the players would add it if asked. By the way, Doc better make it back in time!
if anyone needs anyone in particular i have 20 tickets for the festival i need howard, utley halladay, hamels, everyone else i can take stuff for on consignment so let me know what you need
