suntimes show march 2012??

I didn't have any issues with Fisk's person, she was nice to me but you never know I guess. Haha I hadn't heard that on Calvin. I forgot to mention that they said something about offering Mail Order with a free Megatron inscription. I wonder if he'll ever do a live show in Chicago. I think MM and MAB have become too cozy to where there is diversity lacking in the lineups for football and baseball guys. They need to bring in the GTSM guys for June/July

with all the big names signing today, very organized, #checkers at the back of every line helps, make you buy tickets early if you dont want to spend all day there. all the baseball guys i got today, no problems. actually got a mike schmidt on an 11x14, all my other ones are mschmidt. i didnt get tyson, but i liked what i saw with the laid back atmosphere and limited handlers. much better situation than tri stars circus at the national. i was surprised to see long vip lines most of the day, repeat guests is why i didnt get it. jeff reardon was advertised at the feller booth for sunday and cancelled. i was going to buy 4 tickets, there loss. also would have gotten norwood if he was there fri or today. i wonder why they always bring in bucky dent, and not guidry, randolph, roy white, mickey rivers and other 70's-80's yankees. also do you think ron kittle could ever be a vip, or would he qualify for regular tickets?

Kittle signs for free all over Chicago so that fits the bill for their VIP's. Also it looked more organized than before maybe because there wasn't a lot of people there. I did notice the crowds being down, could be because it's the same tired act over n over. I honestly think Cal Ripken is one of the nicest signers out there also. I don't know why he keeps signing, he obviously doesn't need the $$$ like a lot of these guys do. One vendor told me unless a guy gets married and divorced you'll never see him because he doesn't need t he money, lol.

they also keep having the big red machine- rose, bench, perez and morgan. what about griffey sr. and concepcion? these two are at the national.

How did batman and robin do??? I was there on Saturday only. Didn't see anyone buy one of those photo ops with the bat mobile. Seemed like a complete rip off.

show ran really smooth in my opinion, they moved alot of people through alot of lines. Saturday there was a wait all day to buy an admission ticket. Due to the amount of autograph tickets sold dont expect prices to drop for the summer show.... It always interests me to see how well guest like rose, schmidt, fisk all of who been in chi town not that long ago do. Even the NFL HOFERS friday like Larry Wilson, Elvin Betha ect... who were VIPS before did well, im sure ending the days of HOFers as VIPs.

my only major beef wtih the show was the crappy pens, i know i should have been prepared. My stafford football came out kinda weak. On sunday at Ray Rice they didnt have a good silver deco for minis and the handler was telling everyone he wouldnt get one becuase paint pens bubble and you need to use a sharpie, rice signed my mini it came out light... i took it straight to the ticket booth they handled it properly in my opinon. since they didnt have another mini to give me they refunded my money and had me keep the helmet.

I thought the handlers did well with the crowd with the exception of the kid with glasses who was handling scottie pippen. He always gets infront of the table trying to take your items making sure you have no contact with scottie. Pippen himself was chill talking with people and posing for pics, there was no need for this freakout. this same kid acted the same way with derrick rose before.

I did notice that with Ray Rice. I was getting him for a friend and I gave him the silver elementz marker my friend gave me. Rice even made a comment about it being the best marker. Strange why they didn't have one there. Every one else did. I think Rose, Schmidt and Fisk all did well again. It amazes me also why they do. They've been here forever. Batman and Robin did ok I think, but after the first 30 minute wave I did notice Adam West just sitting there. And thought it was funny they were announcing no pictures in the line or while getting your item signed. For $99 I would have been taking a pic of the item. Also Robin now looks more like the penguin, than the trusty side kick, lol
