Tebow signing

$160 for Tebow is a joke. However, we all know some people will pay it. $160 is Montana, Elway, Marino type of pricing. Think about it...legends of the NFL for around that price or a guy that has not even taken one snap.

I have always liked how Tebow handles himself, and the Christian example he sets.

However, I don't agree with him on this. Independent of me collecting autographs, this just doesn't reflect the kind of attitude a guy like him should have. Yeah, the scums that literally do graphing for their job, it's a bit ridiculous. But the way Tebow wants to ridicule the eBay guys-that isn't right. It doesn't line up with his faith, and it doesn't put forth a good example in my opinion. It's arrogant, and brings attention to himself.

If people selling his autograph on eBay is the biggest of his worries, he's living a darn good life.

give it 5 or 6 yrs prices will drop on him and u cant blame him 100% i'm sure the people holding the signing jacked the prices up to also make their profit.

I actually have a little inside information about his signing deal. From what I've been told by sources close to the situation he has signed a one-year exclusive with Palm Beach Autographs at a guarenteed rate of $80 per graph. I've also heard that Jimmy Clausen and Sam Bradford have similar deals with other companies. I understand that Palm Beach almost HAS to charge this much for his signature intially so that when he is worth significantly less in a year they don't lose their shirts on the deal.

I think its outrageous to pay $160 for him, of course, I wouldn't pay that much for anyone. I try to avoid paid signings whenever possible, but every once in a while I might do one. Would never pay more than $50 and it would have to be a Steeler then.

Your right. He will be like $29 at most when he is out of the NFL in a few years.
