I am trying to complete a 2001 Topps set and could never have gotten Enrique Wilson, Ramon Martinez, Pasqual Coco and others without the help of this man, so to question the prices which in my eyes are reasonable is absurd. Besides if you dont agree with the prices, dont send in cards next time. Just two cents worth from someone who usually avoids these types of debates.

I appreciate the effort for no more cost than is involved. It's very likely for my 2001 SP set I'd have ended up just short the Julio Ramirez at the end of the day. For just a few bucks I can complete my set. The only other 3 guys I need are still in baseball. These are guys that there really isn't a lot of access to. I have no problem with the money made for your time and appreciate all the efforts and willingness to seek Ramirez out for those of us who needed him.

Even though I never sent anything in, the work John put in to get these guys is amazing. His posts are always a blast to read due to his hard work and preparation in meeting so many guys needed by collectors. This hobby would be a much better place if there were more people like John.

That's jaw-dropping considering what a jerk he was IP all through the years. Shouldn't have been a shock to him that people needed him since he was never one to sign a bunch at one time and many times would flat out refuse altogether. Glad to see "free agency" has softened him up.

I just realized, as I was putting everyone's stuff together, that only about one-third sent me a SASE with their items. It's going to be a few days before I get those back in the mail. If you sent me a SASE your stuff will go out tomorrow or Tuesday.
