Why did you repeat the same info from the email? Also, if he knows that his signing is getting discredited, why would he respond on another site instead of here?
Someone is lying. Im curious as why 50-60 mail in orders (mine, GSM, Graphgetters. ect) packages didnt get done. If all the stuff that was there got signed why did they turn away mail in orders that were already agreed upon. I'm begining to think that our stuff didnt get signed because of a beef between two Houston promoters.
Gleng- did you participate in the private signing? Partners with Fiterman? I didn't see you post in thread before issues arose so just trying to keep "who's who in the zoo" straight.
Nope I do not know him at all. I bought a glove from him and sent in a Canvas. Those are not even my emails. I'm just reporting what was on SCN. I hope this works out in the end.
Not sure who many of you are, as your real names are not posted on here. As one of the previous posters put up here via email with me, Tyson signed over 1200 items, which was WAY over our contracted number. We paid him a lot of extra money to make sure every item we had got signed. And because of that, we cam away with hardly any merchandise for ourselves. We could have been jerks about it and refunded a lot of people 60-70 dollars to get a huge amount of inventory and make $300 off of each glove/pair of trunks, but we didnt. Every Tyson item we had by the deadline was signed. I am also not sure how you could know what "packages" got signed and did not get signed, or what "agreements" you are referring to.
If someone turned you away from dropping the stuff off at the show, it is probably because 1) We have a cutoff date for a reason. There is a lot of organization and time that goes into setting up a back room for 1200+ items. And with a number like that it must be negotiated with Tyson and his people for all of the extra pieces. And 2) You probably didn't pay.
In regards to proof pics, every wholesale purchaser that came to the show was in the back room with us and Tyson taking whatever proof pics they wanted.
If anyone has a problem that they experienced at the show, please email me directly so we can make it right rather than posting anonymously on a message board.
Also, this was emailed to me from a contact at Comcast Sports Net Houston (who was conducting all of the athlete interviews on Saturday and Sunday):
"I'm reviewing all the interviews tonight and breaking the down but this weekend was amazing! Our next step is to have a meeting to figure out exactly what we are doing with the interviews and how they will be used. As soon as I get that information on how we will be using these interviews I will give you a holler
On a personal note, I think this was one of the most well ran events with so many moving components I have EVER seen. You have a GREAT group around you who were well informed and understood exactly what was going on. On behalf of CSN Houston, we are very appreciative you allowed us to be involved and helped us with so many interviews. We had such an amazing experience and look forward towards working with Fiterman Sports Group in the future.
"
So, maybe it wasn't as bad as a couple of people are saying.
Again, you guys need anything, contact me personally.
