March Sun Times show-initial list...

If Eric Davis and Cecil Fielder were $29 at the last show, how can Dwight Evans and Fred Lynn be $50 at this show?

Because they are appearing 1. together and 2. with FISK. now you can get multi signed pics and items done, or if you come for yaz youll get the others while you are there. Its martketing add ons. How can the base nissan sentra cost 20k, then you look at the altima its 30k, they have virtually the same engineering.

Also you should realize by now this is a back room private signing with a short public appearance. They sell thousands more of these autograph tickets in the back at huge discounts and then just stick the player out in the public and charge them a premium if they want to meet them.

If you are ok with not an item signed in your pressence go to scn or these other boards where various people offer discounts for back room signings at this show.

Where are the Yaz prices? I've not seen Yaz in Chicago for 12 years. Is that right?

Agreed. I do remember reading about 5 years ago or so that he only does east coast things.

prices are extremly high on certain guys. jonathan ogden-70, new hof er but he was a tackle, not a quarterback, receiver or running back. dwight evans and fred lynn are the same price as jim rice? craig hodges 40, should be vip or 20. bill walton 70, if you ever had the chance to get this guy for free, one of the best, stacks for free. kessinger 40, should be vip or 20. blum and widger also vip or 20. im not a good judge on the current guys, but i wouldnt pay 20 bucks for teo or rg3. some of the guys there having, i never heard of, i had to look them up. so as of now, im still going to the show, but instead of getting 3 or 4 tickets on some guys, i may just get 1 each, maybe 2. (yount, sutter, morris, lynn, evans, hershiser). only getting yount because it would complete a piece w/ hank aaron and others. the days of getting a free yount in milwaukee are gone. i still think with the high prices, the line to buy tickets on saturday will still be to the back wall. wonder what they plan on doing friday night.

are you saying you think yount lynn and evans are over priced, but you are still getting 1 or maybe 2 of each?

if so that may be exactly why prices are higher

trying to fill holes in my collection, where else am i going to see dwight evans or fred lynn if i dont go to spring training or all star fan fests? some people that travel great distances by car or airplane to get what they think are free autographs, end up paying more than show prices, and they dont get the autograph in their pen or signed in the right place. the suntimes show is 75 minutes from my house. im saying i was expecting lynn and evans to be like 29 not 50. so i pick out the 1 item i want instead of getting all signed.
