When are prices usually released? Interested in what Pippen will be. I also need Butkus but Im guessing $79 for premiums for him

pippen is 299 on equipment and 100 on inscriptions only doing 50 of them

trying to fill holes in my collection, where else am i going to see dwight evans or fred lynn if i dont go to spring training or all star fan fests? some people that travel great distances by car or airplane to get what they think are free autographs, end up paying more than show prices, and they dont get the autograph in their pen or signed in the right place. the suntimes show is 75 minutes from my house. im saying i was expecting lynn and evans to be like 29 not 50. so i pick out the 1 item i want instead of getting all signed.

I don't think anyone is saying there isn't logic in that argument, I spend about a grand every year heading to ST for my "free" graphs. But the fact remains, you feel you "need" the autograph enough to pay the price, and bottom line as long as the market will bear those prices, the promoters will continue to charge those prices. It really doesn't matter how you rationalize spending the money, you're still spending the money, and that's what promoters are banking on. If you decided $50 in your pocket was worth more to you than Lynn's graph on a set card, and so did everyone else, Lynn wouldn't be $50 at his next appearance.

for me there is a limit, when it comes to getting gum cards signed. i need jim mcmahon for my packers superbowl set, but cant see paying 80, i know health wise hes not doing good, may not be signing in a few years. but also, i dont have reggie white or wayne simmons anyway. i did go to allstar fanfest when it was here. did get 6 fred lynns, cards and 8x10's. im all in favor of free ones too.

Tickets went on sale this morning. Was wondering what everyone ordered. I got

1- Drew Brees Football. My fathers favorite player for many many years. Will buy the SB Football for him to sign
1- Andre Dawson Flat. Found a cool piece of Dawson art. Cheap enough and will get inscrips too

That's it. Was not a fan of many of the prices.

He might be the only one I get, was debating on RGIII but would only want something from his Baylor days. Does anyone have any Baylor RGIII items?

Wow! I got Lewis two years ago here at Sun-Times for either 89 or 99 on a mini with a 39 dollar inscription of SB MVP. Now that mini would be $260 plus the mini...thank God I got him when I did
