I think there are a ton of football HOF'ers they could explore that haven't been here too recently. I think they hit the niche sports ok and there are plenty of baseball HOF'ers (mostly retreads though). Maddux and Smoltz are the only real standout guests to me. I also think that they really need to pursue active baseball players since this is the only time they can get guys nationally to come to a show. Thinking along the lines of the Lincecums, Bautistas, Votto/Bruce, etc. They've had Kershaw/Heyward/Longo in recent years as good examples of the type of active talent they can bring in. But really, its foolish to ignore football guys when it's the number one sport going and has a huge collecting base. I've mentioned guys before like Marcus Allen, Jack Lambert, Ozzie Newsome, the new class, and many others that haven't been here in the last few shows like Barry Sanders has as the only FB HOF'er

They seem to usually bring in a couple big name rookies/mvp candidates. I also remember about 5 years ago they had a little known guy who had hardly anyone in line for $35...it was Robinson Cano. In 5 years, people are going to be saying the same thing about when Kershaw was there for hardly anything and nobody was wanting him. That's a steal now, if we only knew. They also had Justin Morneau the year he won the MVP, Hanley Ramirez in '07 after he won ROY in 06, and Prince Fielder to name a few more before they were huge stars. They really seem to hit the "young guys" good who go on to become stars and are fairly cheap.

I'd like to see them add some current guys like Verlander, Strasburg, or Harper...although I'm guessing that since Harper hasn't made his debut he can't be there.

I'm in for Maddux and Jim Brown for sure on 8x10s. Most likely impulse buys will draw me to Lambert, Barry & Frank Robinson (if I can get an Indians red uniform 8x10). Lastly, I may get Charlie Hustle on cards for sets I am doing @ $39 a pop unless one of the guys on here or other sites get a better rate.

Has Shaun Gayle been a VIP yet? I could see him doing the show since he's local.
