november 2011 suntimes show

Question for everyone: Maddux is $179 @ show. How come Waukesha can do 8x10s for $115, and I think I saw another place offering so low? Saving $65 is saving $65, but I am still of the mindset of wanting to see the scribble myself. Thoughts?

It's simply wholesale pricing. They bring X number minimum pieces, for example, the show gives them wholesale price - maybe @ $95 ea - Waukesha makes $20 on each, but gets 20-30 pieces, which is $400-$600 'profit'.

it sounds like easy money, but trust me, it is not. First you need a Tax ID, insurance for when the items are in your possession, and then you need to be extremely organized - spend hours sorting, labeling, recording, organizing, and obviously communicating and responding to questions. Then as far as the signing, what happens if a piece gets smeared? What if the wrong pen is used? What if an item gets lost or damaged in shipping? At those prices just a handful of problems can blow your entire margin and you end up losing money. Then communicating back out and shipping all the items back, making sure each customer gets their specific item back.

For me, if I trust the promoter, then I'd go with them and save the $65...

Kukoc sells well I bet.....not the rest of the new adds. They aren't expensive, but they also aren't interesting

im actually excited about pedro guerrero, i will probably get parker and tommy john also. doug harvey added for sunday also.

Russell Basketball, Kukoc Basketball, Guerrero OMLB, Chastain on her SI, possibly Urlacher on a 16, and maybe Forrest Gregg on a mini seeing he's in bad shape and might not be around to much longer. And others if they add more. Shaping up to be a good show, Kukoc was a nice addition.
