October trip to Dominican Republic

Some folks have asked about any future signings I may do with particular players or whether I'll be going back to see the same guys I saw in October. Each player is different but I have some guidelines I try to follow to be more efficient with my time:

1) After I meet a player, I usually do one big signing with him.
2) I may do a second signing if
----I have 10 or more items on my next trip if he lives in Santo Domingo
----I have 25 or more items if he lives outside of Santo Domingo
----I find some new items for him between trips
3) If a player is friendly I'm always more willing to go back and see him

If you have questions about any specific player please let me know. Also, please understand that these guys have lives. They travel for business or pleasure and just because I find him once doesn't mean he'll be around the next time I go.

Final autograph count:

1729 signed cards
323 signed 8x10 photos

Not bad for a week's work.

Very nice work, so do you have a 77 Topps Alex Taveras auto available?

Notes from this trip:

First autograph: Jose DeLeon

First player to ask me to be their agent: Julio Ramirez

Best with a Sharpie: Geronimo Berroa-he could sign 500 items with the same Sharpie

Worst with a Sharpie: Andres Thomas-will flatten the tip on the first signature

Easiest to get a hold of: Andres Thomas-he called my hotel 3 times in the first day I was here

Hardest to get a hold of: Cesar Geronimo

Toughest to deal with: Neifi Perez

Longest wait for a signer: Miguel Dilone made me wait until after his dominoes game was over

Oddest request: Carmen Castillo asking me to bring him a pair of Oakleys next time

Other requests/demands: Cecilio Guante wants a minimum $500 signing fee next time (but he'll sign whatever I bring)

Funniest question or comment: "Hey Chinose, where's your cousin Fukudome?"--Roberto Novoa (I guess he does have a sense of humor because even I laughed at that one)

Final tally: 1729 signed cards, 323 signed 8x10 photos

Last autograph: Wilfredo Tejada

If anyone needs any cards signed by Jose DeLeon or Miguel Dilone, I have a ton of extras. Let me know what you need.

I did a big signing with Deivi Cruz also so if anyone needs anything let me know.

Preliminary list for January:

Luis Polonia-$15 cards, $20 flats, $40 multi-signed Yankees items(nothing bigger than a magazine)

Pedro Guerrero-$20 cards, $25 flats (No WS MVP items)

Juan Lara-$40

Julio Santana-$6 plus one extra card for Julio

Does anyone have interest in Juan Encarnacion at $15 per? If there's enough interest I'll set something up with him.
