Well, I received a full refund today minus my cards, from Al. Hopefully the check won't bounce.

The way things have gone, it wouldn't be a surprise. This has just been a complete joke. Got "part" of a refund today.. I will see if I can get a response from him. This will be the last time I try something like this.

Did you get anything back? I would call it a scam. Just wasn't organized from the begining in my opinion. I mean if you oganize people to send money for a player and they won't once you get the money, I don't see how he could have thought he could get them. Just a mistake to fall for this I guess. I also heard that Jarrett has all the Manny's now too!? Wow. I don't think one thing went right at all.

Funny too, Jmac has disappeared. The only time he came back on this forum was to argue with me about him bribing bat boys. He could care less about this.

I am not at all surprised what happened with this. Just goes to show most things in life are too good to be true.

Look I don't have any Mannys. I'm tired of dealing with this because this was NOT my signing, I posted it for someone else, I wasn't handling anything. Believe me, I wish I had everyone's Mannys. How would I have all the Manny's when is handling and shipping/refunding everything? That makes absolutely no sense, whoever posted that is a flat out liar. And how can this be a scam when everyone is getting refunds? Who would organize a signing to rip people off...do the signings with Ortiz, Santana, and Pujols at damn good prices, and then have to refund everyone their money later? That sounds like a real genius scam guys!

I just got my refund for the stuff I bought. FYI I didn't make a dime off this and neither did Al. It was generosity because he had connections to the players and they feel through. It was handled awful obviously but there's nothing I can do about it, and I don't know how many times I have to tell everyone that. If you have a problem with me personally feel free to contact me personally, but guess what...not a soul on here has contacted me personally.

I wasn't part of it nor do I know anyone involved, but by posting the thing you are involved. You should have told "Al" to post for himself. Don't post about it unless you are willing to answer questions, etc. Especially if something goes wrong as bad as it seems this did. So don't encourage people to do something that you posted and then run away when people want answers.

And I disagree that it wasn't your signing. You were the one who vouched for this guy, and gave everyone his contact info. It would seem to me that means you were at least somewhat responsible.
