So here's my recap of the Christmas in July that is the Phillies Phestival.
Got there around 2, just in time to work a few trades and begin four hours of sweating in the "feels like 103" heat. Only brought ROMLBs with me this year. Here's my haul...

Chase Utley - 08 WS ball under logo
Carlos Ruiz - 08 WS ball under logo
Jimmy Rollins - 08 WS ball under logo (traded my Hamels ticket for J-Roll, then happened upon an extra J-Roll ticket)
Jimmy Rollins - 09 World Baseball Classic ball under logo
Laynce Nix - ROMLB ss
Ty Wigginton - ROMLB ss
John Mayberry Jr - ROMLB ss
Greg Gross - ROMLB ss with '80 World Champs' inscr
and one 'bullpen team ball' with Jake Diekman (SS with 1st mlb win insc), Joe Savery (1st mlb win inscr), Antonio Bastardo, and Jeremy Horst

Played the dice roll twice when I got there, and got a 2012 Media Guide and Roy Halladay fathead jr.

Also bought two grab bags, which I love. They were grey backbacks this year and were really nice.

Since it was just me, I didn't make it to any booths taking donations, but I was out of ROMLBs by 6:00 anyway so it worked out.
And just for good measure, I knew that the Blue Rocks were playing at 7:05, 2x National Champion USC Gamecock Adrian Morales had just been called up, and if I timed it right I could get there for pre-game. This Gamecock baseball collector couldn't pass up the opportunity. Got there at 6:45.

Apparently I made it back to Baltimore just in time, because it sounds like Philly got nailed with strong storms after I left, so hope everyone got home safely and had a successful Phestival.

I was able to get Halladay twice on a couple things I've been meaning to get done. It somehow felt hotter than 103 - I am burnt to a crisp.
