Sun Times Nov Show

Joe D was a VIP years ago and signed multiples each time through, no problem at all. 3 FB HOFers is a better than usual VIP list.

Yeah, good point. It's always amazed me because those 'helpers' always get quite a stash of their own things done. Just like the guys that leave their 100's of items in between the barricades...

The guys name is Larry, he works with George Johnson. And the reason they only allow you 1 per is because all the moron card guys ruined it by going up to the table with 9 cards on a sheet and trying to get them all done. VIP does not mean all u can get, it's 1 per. Doesn't entitle you to an endless supply. And the so called handlers are actually guys that work the show, I know hard to believe because all you see is their stuff getting signed. But 8 hours standing around there listening to the same idiot ask what number you are on for Pete Rose when you just announced it and telling the other idiots to clear the path in n out and not stand around the entry way when your ticket number is 300 and they just called 1-25. I would say discounted autograph tickets is a fair price to pay for that. They don't get paid cash so would you suggest they work for free? And 100's of items seems a little far fetched don't you think? I have a buddy that works the shows and from Friday morning until Sunday night he doesn't do anything else.

He must think that extra autographs or discounted autograph tickets are fair compensation as I have never seen anyone there show up to work becuase they havev a gun to their head. It really shouldnt have been the "moron" card guys who runied the 1 per. If you ever graphed you know that having a sheet of 9 cards in a book ready to go is easy to sign, and takes less time then the ushally idiot fumbling with mini helments, or the guy who needs to take 3 pictures.
